Taking inspiration from Mark Leckey's Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore, the cavernous Space at Nottingham Contemporary will be transformed into a nightclub and live television broadcast inspired by dance music culture, trends, branding, digital aesthetics and notions of euphoria.

Curated by Candice Jacobs in collaboration with Zoe Williams & Lucie Akerman, this version of COCKTAIL forms the second in a series of events by Williams & Akerman, the first of which was held at the Motorcycle Showroom in Bristol, 2011.

COCKTAIL is an immersive environment that merges fashion and branding with performance and technology, smoke and mirrors, podiums, sculpture, scent, tailored tracksuits and cocktails.

Featuring electronic music by Nottingham born Rokk, Bristol based club night DirtyTalk and Glasgow based outfit Lovers’ Rights, COCKTAIL will also feature artworks and performances by Romany Dear, Joey Holder, Candice Jacobs, Samuel Levack & Jennifer Lewandowski, Zephyr Liddell, Calvin Sangster & Tim Hattrick, Joey Villemont, Zoe Williams and Lucy Woodhouse.
